Reusable and disposable EDA/GSR electrodes both use isotonic gel but the formulas are different so results will be almost identical but will show a small difference.   The researcher should compare one electrode setup to the other during a measurement with a single EDA/GSR series amplifier. Disposable electrodes offer the advantage of using new electrodes for each recording, thus avoiding the issue of cleaning reusable electrodes.
