Physiological noise correction tool for fMRI data

PhysIO Toolbox to remove image artifact associated with RSP and ECG

The general purpose of theĀ PhysIO Toolbox is the model-based physiological noise correction of fMRI data using peripheral measures of respiration and cardiac pulsation.Ā The software accepts time-series data generated with BIOPAC MRI amplifiers (ECG, RSP) and then uses this data to correct fMRI images.

PhysIO Toolox is availableĀ as part of the TAPAS software collection of the TNU. TAPAS is a collection of algorithms and software tools that are developed by the Translational Neuromodeling Unit (TNU) at Zurich to support translational neuroscience, particularly concerning the application of neuroimaging and computational modeling to research questions in psychiatry and neurology.
