Description
The BioNomadixŸ wireless Tri-axial Accelerometer is a broad spectrum acceleration measurement system and tap detector. The system can measure the acceleration of gravity (static) for tilt-sensing and can also measure very fast-changing, dynamic acceleration resulting from rapid movement or impact. The system is very well suited for mobile applications.
- Acceleration mode: The system outputs X, Y and Z acceleration values on three associated channels. Attach the transmitter to any part of the subject’s body to measure three-axis  acceleration associated with movement in that particular location.
- Tap mode: The system detects either single or double taps. In âtap detectorâ mode, the system acts as an event recorder for self-report. When âdouble-tapped,â for example, the system will output a pulse to precisely mark the time location of the observed event.
The BN-ACCL3 Receiver+Transmitter matched pair interfaces with the MP200 (or older MP160/MP150) data acquisition and analysis platform and AcqKnowledge software, allowing advanced analysis for multiple applications and supporting acquisition of a broad range of signals and measurements.
