Description
MRI Smart Amplifier
The EEG100C-MRI Electroencephalogram (EEG) Amplifier amplifies bioelectric potentials associated with neuronal activity of the brain and can be used to perform unipolar or bipolar EEG measurements. The amplifier output can be switched between normal EEG output and Alpha wave detection. The Alpha detection mode outputs a smoothed wave with a peak indicating maximal alpha activity (signal energy in the 8-13 Hz frequency range).
Use the AcqKnowledge software to automatically filter the raw EEG signals for Alpha, Beta, Theta, and Gamma wave activity and to provide a full frequency analysis of the data. The software will also remove any EOG artifact in the signals.
The EEG100C-MRI amplifier should be used with the MECMRI-BIOP MRI cable/filter set. The EEG100C-MRI is part of a complete research system, interfacing with the MP200/MP200 data acquisition and analysis platform and AcqKnowledge software, allowing advanced analysis for multiple applications and supporting acquisition of a broad range of signals and measurements.
