Description
fNIR C-series Systems for continuous NIR spectroscopy (NIRS) include Imager 3000C, Sensor Pad(s), Sensor Head Cable(s) with sampling rate of 20 Hz (20 frames per second), and software for real-time data viewing and post-acquisition analysis. The 3000C can communicate and be powered from its USB-C port. The fNIR304C System includes a Surface Tablet with Caddy—compare C-series Systems here.

For high-density fNIRS studies, combine multiple systems to increase channel count—with the included COBI software, multiple C-Series Imagers will look like a single very large virtual device.
To run experiments in natural environments (e.g., plane cockpit or supermarket), add an optional battery pack (12 V 3000 mAh) to make the 3000C Imager wireless.
fNIRS Imaging Systems are stand-alone functional brain imaging solutions for continuous NIR spectroscopy (NIRS). They provide an in-lab cognitive function assessment and eliminate a great many of the drawbacks of a functional MRI. fNIRS optical imaging technology measures neural activity and hemodynamic response in the prefrontal cortex.
Subjects wear an fNIR sensor (IR light sources and detectors mounted in a flexible band) on the forehead that detects oxygen levels in the prefrontal cortex and provides real-time values for oxy-hemoglobin and deoxygenated hemoglobin. It provides a continuous and real-time display of the oxygen changes as the subject performs different tasks. Subjects can sit in front of a computer and take a test or perform mobile tasks. fNIR applications include Brain Computer Interface, Human Performance Assessment, Neurorehabilitation, Depth of Anesthesia Monitoring, and more.
