Description
The OXYSSH-SYS is a noninvasive Human Pulse Oximeter System that works in conjunction with an MP36, MP36R, MP35 or MP45* to record saturation of peripheral oxygen in functional hemoglobin (SpO2), reported in units of % O2. Two LEDs on the OXYSS module indicate SpO2 signal status. In addition to SpO2, the OXYSS module supports three auxiliary outputs:
Pulse: A pulse plethysmogram signal that reflects changes in blood density on the finger tip caused by varying blood pressure
Rate: Heart Rate in Beats Per Minute (BPM)
Status optional: Outputs voltage levels that reflect the SpO2 signal status; requires BSLCBL14A interface cable, purchased separately
The system includes the OXYSS Pulse Oximeter module (SpO2 output), a Finger Clip Transducer (TSD124D), a Pulse interface cable (BSLCBL15) and a Rate interface cable (BSLCBL16). The OXYSS is powered by the MP device so no external power supply is required. The system also accepts optional Ear Clip Transducer (TSD124B) and Flex Wrap Transducer (TSD124C).
