Description
This starter system includes an MP200 data acquisition unit with AcqKnowledge software and the Baroreflex Sensitivity (BRS) Analysis license. Use this BRS system for examining baroreflex sensitivity from a continuous noninvasive blood pressure signal and a lead II ECG signal.
The Baroreflex Sensitivity (BRS) analysis license for AcqKnowledge provides two standard algorithms for deriving BRS from measures of blood pressure and ECG, the slope method and the sequence method. Baroreflex Sensitivity (BRS) measures the relationship between blood pressure and heart rate. The body regulates blood pressure to ensure proper blood flow to organs underneath different conditions, e.g. supine to standing. Baroreflex sensitivity is a measure of how quickly the blood pressure system can compensate for changes in conditions. Variations in baroreflex sensitivity are useful as a comparative measure between subjects and for assessing various external impacts.
The MP200 System offers:
- Record multiple channels with differing sample rates
- Record at speeds up to 100 kHz per channel (1,600 kHzaggregate)
- Record from multiple MP200s with the Linked Acquisition feature in AcqKnowledge
- Ethernet-ready data acquisition and analysis – ships with a USB to Ethernet Adapter (ETHUSB)
- AcqKnowledge software for recording & analysis, plus trial of AcqKnowledge Cloud Study Management and Storage app
The modular, powerful data acquisition interface system for Windows or macOS can be used with BIOPAC’s amplifiers and accessories AND with equipment you already have. Digital signals accessed with optically isolated STP100D/STP100D-C and STP-IO—separate purchase. Place one or more MP200 Systems in a local area network (LAN). Use any PC in the LAN to record from any MP200 system in the network.
