Z Impedance Calibrator – EBI100C/NICO100C

Description

Impedance calibrator with 20 Ω reference and 50 Ω reference for the EBI100C, NICO100C, or NICO100C-MRI impedance amplifier.

ZCAL20 (20-ohm reference) and ZCAL50 (50 0hm reference) impedance calibrators plug into the EBI100C, NICO100C, or NICO100C-MRI via Touchproof pins.

• ZCALC is not compatible with the BioNomadix BN-NICO impedance amplifier or the NICO100D Smart Amplifier.

Calibration Procedure:

1. Plug ZCAL20 into the front panel of the EBI100C, NICO100C, or NICO100C-MRI.
2. Switch the EBI100C/NICO100C/NICO100C-MRI to the desired mode and confirm that the “Z” channel HP filter “DC” option is selected.
3. Record data on “Z” or impedance channel.
4. Press CAL1 in AcqKnowledge and then map the resulting voltage to “20 ohms.”
5. Remove ZCAL20 and replace with ZCAL50.
6. Press CAL2 in AcqKnowledge and then map the resulting voltage to “50 ohms.”
