Description
This 2 G Tri-Axial Accelerometer high-level output transducer provide three outputs, simultaneously measuring acceleration along the X-, Y- and Z-axes. TSD109A is optimal for ballistocardiography, stroke volume, respiration, sleep studies, restless leg syndrome, and bruxism.
The transducer can be used on any part of the body or attached to external equipment. The pliable and unobtrusive design conforms readily to body contours and may be easily attached to body extremities. The frequency response extends from DC to 500 Hz. The accelerometer is extremely accurate and can easily be calibrated by simply changing its orientation in three-dimensional space, so that gravity (G=1) acts only upon the desired axis. TSD109 series accelerometers connect directly to the AMI100D or HLT100C interface modules, occupying up to three channels, one channel per measured axis.
Alternative accelerometers include TSD109C3 (±5 G) for measuring accelerations when performing slow movements, such as walking and hand tremor, and TSD109J1 (±200 G), which is more suitable for quick movements, such as swinging a tennis racket. Wireless and MRI options are also available.
