Wireless Torsiometers – BioNomadix

Description

Single-axis torsiometer (110 or 150 mm ) to measure rotations in one plane; if the torsiometer is bent in planes X-X or Y-Y the output remains constant. Terminates in adapter (BN-ADAPTER-GONIO) for wireless transmission using dual-channel BioNomadix Goniometry Amplifier (BN-GONIO). This single-axis torsiometer will use one transmitter channel, leaving the other available for a second measurement via another single-axis torsiometer or goniometer.

Torsiometers have a telescopic endblock that compensates for changes in distance between the two mounting points as the limb moves. The gauge mechanism allows for accurate measurement of polycentric joints. Torsiometers attach to the body using medical-grade adhesive tape (TAPE2).
